Having the bar and Thai Restaurant in the same facility was convenient. Bathtub shower was difficult to get into (for seniors) as it was older style high sided tub.

a short stay in Durham
It was a short stay, but would book again in the future when we visit Durham again. The food at the Thai restaurant is very delicious, and you are recommended to visit.

The Highfield Hotel was clean and located to enable to get to the Stadium by bus easily. The breakfast order as confusing. We had paid for bed and breakfast but were only allowed 5 cooked items and were chared 50p for each additional item. The charge would be better in the cost of the hotel.
