On arrival it all looks nice liked the ground floor rooms where you can park directly outside and enter your room great to unpack the car. However the rooms were cold. You even needed to put your coat on to venture down to the bistro for a bite and a drink. The food was ok although been presented with your bill as if your all done when you’d intended to stay for a few drinks was a shock. The older guy seemed to totally dominate the girl and as a result service was very poor. Overall no dramas except they did themselves out of a few more drinks in the restaurant and I’m afraid out of repeat business. I’ll go somewhere warm.

Really nice hotel with great customer service and brilliant breakfast. Only downside is the rooms are not Airconditioned which in a hotel of this high standard in 2018 is very odd indeed!! Even with windows open and duvet taken out the cover it was still very stuffy when trying to sleep.

Good room

Pros: Size of room and good large bed. Facilities within room good. Staff friendly and helpful.
Location: Beamish Museum is about 3 miles away. Interesting area even closer to walk and explore.
Ideal room on ground floor with parking immediately outside french window - especially with one of us having limited mobility. Staff friendly and helpful. Pleasant stay in good area and close to Beamish Museum (about 3 miles away).

Shower flow of Water

I found everything good apart from shower water flow. I don't think the current plumbing system you have can cope with the demands from your number of guests.
