The Marriot is worth it.

There is nothing inherently wrong with the hotel but our room was adjacent to two rooms, both had dogs. One room’s dog was left alone for hours (at least 5 when we moved) and barked and whined the entire afternoon. We called and the owners couldn’t be reached so we moved rooms. The issue is the poor dog had no outlet. I have no idea how long that went on after our move. I don’t know what the hotel did to help the dog either. Pets are wonderful but not everyone wants to be near them on vacation and certainly when they are suffering Separately, hotels need to start a no pet floor policy. Some people are allergic to pet dander and we didn’t like that we were so close to two rooms with dogs without knowing it. Our kids are very allergic.
