Outdated, don’t stay
This is an average hotel that is seriously outdated. The TV in my room is from like 2010 or something. I bring my Apple TV everywhere I go and I had to call maintenance to get them to switch the input so I could use it with their tv. The remote in the room doesn’t allow it and the tv itself doesn’t have the buttons to change it… that’s how old it is. So maintenance comes up and changes it with the actual tv remote (not the “clean remote” they supply in the room) and I ask if I can hold onto the remote and he tells me they only have one FOR THE WHOLE BUILDING. So, if I to turn off the tv anytime during the trip, I’ll have to call him to come back and change the input. LOL What?! Luckily, it was a short trip and I didn’t need to call him back. I won’t be staying there again. The other hotels in the area give you a remote that works and a much bigger tv that’s not from the Stone Age.

The property only offer valet parking for $85 daily parking no self parking available at the hotel for me is too expensive for a parking fee. I Had to cancelled my car reservation because of the valet parking fee, moving forward before I booked a hotel found out the parking rules otherwise the hotel was great.

This hotel served its purpose for the 1 night but it was dated and a bit dark. The room was spacious but I had to pay a bit extra for an early check-in and the cost of parking was high. This is to be expected with all LAX hotels though and not unique to this property. It was a bit noisy from the hallway into my room but not terrible. Overall for the price and location it served its purpose.

Everything was great except for the valet and bell service or lack there of. We had to wait quite awhile for someone to help us yet we had to get out of the way from valet and my daughter had to walk far to park in their self parking.. It was very sketchy 😳 it was dark. The valet sis not help me with the bags to get to curb and wait for bellman. Very awkard and annoying.

The Sheraton was really fine for our purposes of going to and from LAX on a recent trip to Europe. It is near long term parking lots and the rooms are large, although property is dated, and have everything you need. Dining options are limited in the area and we were subjected to a street person screaming (and I mean screaming) obscenities as we walked to our parking garage a few blocks away. Other than that, all was well.
