Nothing works, none of the sockets works, nor fireplace, broken blinds, lights in the bathroom, not the outside lights works, bathroom tub is broken, even the toilet paper holder missing. Looks like the whole building will be bulldozed soon… so why the heck did the hotel is in business. Even the night front desk guys just ignored our requests. Nothing works and paid high $$$. We demand full refund.

The attendant was bathed in an awful perfume I was allergic to. He asked why I was coughing. My room was awfully cold and the heater could not keep up. Then, I found there was no lock on the patio door leaving me vulnerable. I am an older single lady and prefer to be locked in to a room. The slats on the windows did not function correctly either. I'm left as soon as I realized there was no lock on the door. I was told I wouldn't be charged. Will see!

You get what you pay for. They do not care about the condition of the property. Broken blinds, no screens on the windows, tv didnt work, fireplace doesnt work, electrical outlets do not work. Broken run down patio furniture. Clean sheets and towels, so if you just need a place to shower and sleep so you can enjoy the beach and dining you are good.

Cute getaway place
It was close enough to walk to beach but the road did not have a sidewalk area. We did not have kids with us, so we were OK to walk on the road. Even though it was in October/ November the beach was warm to enjoy it for couple hours. We enjoyed our stay at the place. The staff were very friendly. I wish there was some hanger or hook in the bathroom for towels. But we used whatever we found to hang our towels. There is plenty parking space, If you have a compact car, it is easier to park. I recommend the place.

The restaurant was closed. The HvAC was broken so they provided me with a soace heater, which worked OK. Parking was free but the parking lot is so small it was hard to get in and out. The price was great and the room was cute. I might stay there again, if I'm on a budget.

Has Potential but Tired
I’ve stayed here twice in the last 6 months. The first time there were issues with the internet and TV. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and moved me to a different room. This last stay, the wood shutters were broken and or missing on several windows and the door. I had to use a towel to feel secure since I was traveling alone and the cottages are on the ground floor. Also, they could turn the exterior ights on the cottages as it really dark and creepy when youre trying find the keyhole to unlock.

Room was nice. Bath had a whirlpool. There were spider webs in the upper window and light track. Toilet water supply was in off position when we came for some reason. Check in and check out was super easy and seamless.

White Marble floors and shower assured us of cleanliness. Sheets were new and bright white. We arrived very early in order to avoid L.A. traffic and the hotel owner (so nice) had his staff clean our room first because the prior occupants had checked out early. This is an old hotel which has been upgraded. Our room was large and had a new comfy chair but since there was a Keurig coffee maker with lots of pods and CoffeeMate creamers and a microwave, a small café table and chairs would have been welcome. Since we were only there for one night, we chose the most economical room. I believe that all the other rooms had patios with a table and chairs. Note: It is just a short walk to a gorgeous beach and 5 minutes drive to a Pavilion Grocery Store and a French patisserie. Also, close by car to some restaurants and a Starbucks.

Adorable small inn with great location for beach & hiking up Pointe Dume. Not really as shown in their ad as no hot tub but pool was clean. Very private area. Not walking distance to any restaurants though unless quite a way to one on beach. Clean room but no coffee maker. Had to microwave water for hot tea. Staff was very polite, kind & efficient! Great parking, (& free!). Beautiful sunny lobby, well maintained & bright. Overall great experience & wish we had had more time there.
