A good basic stay and breakfast but avoid meals
The room was fine and clean, the breakfast was good. The evening meal has many problems though, and although they took our details and said that some of it would be refunded, we never heard from them again.

The restaurant was unprepared for the number of people staying at the hotel. The rooms were clean and well presented. The pool is tiny and shallow and used by healthclub members as well barely leaving room for the children to play.

Tired hotel badly needing a revamp.
Meh at best. Room was cold, climate control kept tripping out and could only be reset by reception. But they brought me a plug-in heater instead. Car parks weren’t gritted or salted so were a lethal sheet of ice. Food was uninspiring, expensive for the quality and fairly small portions. Dining room is massive with no character or privacy - just tables plonked here and there. Staff deserve a positive mention - all really friendly and helped wherever they could. Bits of cutlery, utensils, trays of leftovers in numerous corridors. Hotel is extremely tired and needs knocking down and starting again.

Stayed here for a party night at haydock park. Clean, basic room. Enjoyed the pool the next morning and the breakfast was good with lots of choice. Free parking was a bonus too. I’d definitely stay here again.

3rd time staying. Was busy. Breakfast was carnage. Hotel a little tired now. Staff friendly enough but not that professional. Asked reception to book 2 taxis. Given list of numbers. Maybe pedantic but want to feel more special when spending over £500 on 3 rooms.

Nice hotel, clean and tidy, just a bit dated in places. Excellent staff, particularly Dylan and Jake! Good breakfast Sound-proofing could be better, but that was more the fault of inconsiderate guests than the hotel. Overall very good
