The check in was not a straight forward. We were stuck on the road for almost 15 minutes not knowing what to do.Prior to that,They’ve sent me a link to get an access code to open the barrier on the entrance. I don’t check my emails whilst on my vacation. Not recommending this place.

What a great experience!
What an amazing town and amazing hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful and helped round out a most perfect stay in Sintra. The room was spacious, clean and welcoming. Provided a 'welcome' snack and bottle of wine which just shows a lot of class and made them stand out among the hotels we've stayed at along the way. Highly recommend.

We have recently returned from a 3 night stay, the hotel is centrally located and the majority of the tourist attractions in the area are nearby. We flew into Lisbon, travelling to Sintra via train but later found thanks to the staff, that using the Uber service is very cost effective and a more convenient option. The staff we encountered were very friendly, and willing to assist when needed which made our stay even better. A special mention to the bar staff who catered for our every need (thanks for the Portuguese Disaronno!) whilst we spent a number of hours watching the beautiful sunset from the terrace, overlooking the valley below which is an advantage for this hotel. Our room was sizeable with a terrace overlooking the Palacio Nacional De Sintra, with comfortable amenities. The breakfast offering was varied, with once again lovely views to start your day.
