We only spent one night while visiting UC San Diego. There is plenty of parking space behind the hotel, it felt very safe as well. The room was spacious and well lit. There is everything you need, the shower is clean and hot, it’s quiet. Recommended if you stop in La Jolla.

A good budget stay
Hotel is pretty basic, but very pleasant and room was totally clean. The breakfast that was included was amazing! Quite a step up from most included breakfasts in hotels of this type. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can definitely hear people walking by your room, etc., but that’s pretty intrinsic to a hotel hotel at this level. A good budget stay!
