The first room had mold in corners. I got a second room where the mold was in other corners. Wallpaper hung off the wall. Bathroom was dirty. I can upload pictures if wanted.

Wonderful relaxing stay.
I've stayed here many times and will continue to do so. #1 location, near beach, Balboa, Laguna, restaurants, and shopping. #2 comfortable, spacious rooms, clean, well-maintained property. #3 Small gym is a plus. #4 refrig and wifi.

The staff was very nice however, the room needed updating and wasn't very clean. It had a strong odor that felt like it was trying to cover up something, so we had to keep the window open most of the time. It was very loud outside and a lot of guests were smoking right outside our windows. Lots of old, loud cars in the parking lot. People were slamming doors throughout the night. Top of the shower had black mold and walls in toliet area needed wiping down.

Close to Newport Beach and sufficiently quiet. Room had a musty smell which requied fan to be on at all times. Decent breakfast options though repetitive for the 5 days of my stay. Staff cleaned room upon request. Good deal for the location.

Outdated hotel. I stayed there 15 years ago and it was a lot better. The place outside wasn’t so nice. I was surprised with the condition. The bed was very comfortable and I liked that it had a mini fridge. It’s good to just have a place to sleep.

Decent hotel close to Newport. Room was spacious and comfortable. Was woken up by a screaming drunk guest pounding on her room door to get in. Police arrived as it turned into a DV situation.
