I made reservations for this property about one month in advance based on the reviews/location. Check in was at 3, I arrived at 3:10, I tried the provided code numerous times, it didn't work. I called and text the property manager, when I didn't receive a response, I contacted VRBO. Angie with VRBO assisted as much as she could, but with no success, I presume she contacted the manager because when Angie put me on hold, I received a call from the property manager, I let her know I was at the unit but could not access it, the property manager informed me that I couldn't access the unit because she hadn't changed the code yet for me to access it, nor had the unit been cleaned. The property manager asked me to come back in a FEW hours, of course I informed her since the reservation was made a month ago, I shouldn't have to come back, she actually said, I can let you in, but it hasn't been cleaned or sanitized. I told her absolutely NOT, this is unacceptable and want to be compensated, she offered a one night stay the next time I return to Cincinnati, why would she assume I was going back to Cincinnati? I informed her that I want compensation for the inconvenience of my first night stay. I was compensated, but only the weekday amount , not the tax/ fees.
