The staff were very welcoming. It felt like an inclusive environment. It was so nice to meet people from around the world. I loved the walkable aspect to staying here. 15-30 minutes walk to a lot of things and right next to CTA and bus stations. It was very clean. Soap, towels were provided. My room was cozy and I liked the setup of 4 private rooms that share a kitchenette, bathroom and sitting area. The breakfast was nice, bagels, juice, toast, cereal. There were homeless people staying on the side of the building & it made me feel sad but they weren't mean or bothersome. Personally, I felt safe walking around at night. The hostel is very secure. I recommend this place for budget-friendly travel.
