First of all the Wi-Fi doesn't work well second you have to stay until 11 to collect the deposit money so make sure not to have plans before 11am or make sure that you come back before 3 pm to get your deposit back

Our room smelled liked tobacco and mildew. There were still food crumbs and sand on the floor/table. At least the toilet was clean. $100 deposit for it to be refunded in '3-7 business days' when the room is still dirty is ridiculous. Unfortunately, no other hotels under $400 were nearby; I considered sleeping in my car. Awful place. Check-in ladies were at least nice.

The room was very dirty, sticky, cigarette burns on the bathtub, broken furniture, no trash can when we arrived. Not a clean environment at all. Did not feel safe there.

This hotel allows unlimited pets in each room and barking is a problem. The front desk staff is combative no matter what your questions or concerns are. Ants in the room.

I liked that the property was right off the freeway, and close to Carlsbad Village which offers a lot of dining options & places to shop. The property is not the cleanest, but for $60 a night, it's not terrible. The walls are thin & you can hear the goings-on of neighbors. So if you're looking for a good night of peace & quiet, this place isn't for you. It's great if you're just in the area & need a place to crash for a night or two. It's a basic Motel 6, nothing flashy about it, so don't expect much.

The location was great - easy to walk into the Village. Also loved that we could bring our dog. The first room we were given had not been cleaned and the second room, the keys didn't work (keys stopped working twice). The room was clean, but a little small and the ice machine was out. The staff was very nice when we had an issue, just was not fun having to walk back to the office so many times. I would come back.

Paper thin walls, next room was blasting music, called the front desk and did nothing. 330 am domestic dispute happened and the cops were called in, for 1hr they were talking in front of my room and i could hear everything. Every time someone uses the stairs or closes the door, everything shakes.

I really enjoyed our stay this time we had the the deluxe double room with the microwave and a refrigerator. The square footage is an hundred more than most rooms on the property; this made a hudge differance. It would be great if there was a pool or hot tub here; however, the ocean is only a 10 minute walk, and the sunsets were amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff everyone was polite and accomadating. We give a five star rating, two thumbs up, smilely faces, for all the romantic reading this there are plenty of Great resteraunts to choose from for above average food and ambiance.
