We loved Wyndham Ultra, the hotel was beautiful with amazing staff. Our waiter "Salomon" at Sunset grill gave us the best dining experience of our lives! We also loved Casa de Rosa. The beach restrooms can be a little cleaner. We were also not very impressed with the Ventanas buffet.

Great stay in Cancun overall!!
This was a great stay. This was the best food I had at an all-inclusive resort. Lots of times at all-inclusive, the food is bland and sub-par but all the restaurants were delicious. Even the buffet was impressive. The volleyball and water aerobics during the day were fun. The drinks in the bars were overly sweet and would like to see them use real fruits rather than sugar juices. A negative was the lack of entertainment. In the evening they had 1 show from 8-9 and we always missed it due to still dinning for dinner. I wish that was later or they had more shows. In the bar area, they had a singer nightly however they weren't very good. I suggest having Karaoke or an actual band. I also wish they had a hot tub in the main pool area. They had a hidden hot tub but you had to reserve it ahead of time which is weird.

We Loveeeeeee this resort. This is why we keep coming. Service is Amazing Daniel, Karina, Fernandito,Maclovio, Ramiro, Ricardo and Luis at the main bar in the lobby are Amazing! And our favorite server Giovanni at Azul oh and can't forget Pascual at the Italian Restaurant. All of this great workers always make us feel so welcome and that's why we choose only this resort when we travel to Cancun :)

Great but needs maintenance
Our holiday was amazing. The staff always went above and beyond, were super friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about them. Really. The food was great and the restaurants always did their best to help us with a picky 3-year old. As good as all the restaurants were, the Mexican one was the best followed by the Italian. The Asian one could be better, it wasn't bad by any means, just not as good as the others. My only complaint about our stay was the condition of the facility. It is clear to me that there are many years of deferred maintenance that needs to be done. Like many hotels, they have spent their money on the lobby (which is very nice) and not the rooms or the other facilities. In defense it does appear that at least they are painting it. But the following things weren't great: 1. Children's area the water slide has been out of use probably for years. It was closed 3 years ago when we were last there and it still was. 2. Pools need to be re-grouted as there are spots that are discolored or it is missing 3. Room balcony plant boxes are full of dead plants and it appears they have been for a long time - just remove them if it is too much work to maintain them (and I imagine it is) 4. Room balcony has pealing plastic film on the glass wall. It really ruins the view when sitting down 5. General maintenance of the room, while it was done it simply wasn't done that well. For the price we paid, the facility should be as good as the staff and food.

They have 20 hunters in the lobby keep trying to upsell you and offer you discount coupons if you accept there promotions, and yes they will keep trying with you every time you pass by! Spa service is very bad and dirty. Restaurants need ventilation, every time you eat in any of them your clothes smell very bad oil and food smell. From the check in time they try to upsell you to rooms that is not even available to book online, it is a big scam! Also the beach is rocky and strong waves all the time red flag no swimming allowed. Will not go there or recommend it.

This was my first time traveling with my one and a half year-old and my 16-year-old son to a family all-inclusive resort. The Wyndham exceeded my expectations. I communicated with Ana Zubiri before I got there to make sure that my the room was decorated for her birthday and to take advantage of the babysitting services and the kids club. The resort was clean, peaceful, and accommodated to my family‘s needs. The beach access was convenient. We will definitely be back thank you so much for being so kind to me and my family.

The multiple options of restaurants within the resort was convenient and having unlimited drinks during our stay was the best! Staff was very friendly and helpful since the moment we got there and Hector, who helped us take our luggage to our room, was very helpful with letting us know the times the restaurants opened and what were the most popular dishes to have. Having the beach at a walking distance from our room was amazing and we had a magnificent ocean view from our room.
