We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sands. Everything was very clean, and the property was kept in top shape! All staff were very friendly and professional. The dining options were all very good! Would recommend coming here to anyone looking for an affordable spot that doesn’t compromise quality!

The staff were amazing! The property was very well maintained and clean! The beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. I also wish there was more things to say in the evening, once we ate dinner there was nothing to do.

Very bad service. They didn’t seem to care. Bathroom flush wouldn’t work. They changed room in middle of our stay. They would not restock the refrigerator. They didn’t want to listen to the complain.

Food and beverage personnel were pleasant and very hard working. Service was slow sometimes due to lack of staff. Poor dining options; the resort does not have a nightly buffet, two dining restaurants share a kitchen slowing things down. Difficult to get restaurant reservations as time share owners get preferential access. Too many fine dining items require a surcharge. All inclusive food choices are mundane.

The food wasn't great. Actually went off property to get better food. The pool was big and nice, the access to the beach was nice. Cans of beer were not included in the all inclusive. I was drinking dos equis until I realized they were pouring it out of a plastic gallon jug. Overall, it was a good experience but due to cans of basic beers not being included in the all inclusive, and the food leaving lots to be desired, I would only stay here again if it wasn't all inclusive.
