This is a great hotel if you’re looking for something “different”. The pool was fun all weekend with live “entertainment” and guests participating in different games everyday. Food was very subpar. Very few options in the Buffett compared to most other resorts I’ve visited. The sushi bar at the pool was delicious but the burgers were a huge chunk of meat. Gross. Fries were cold. Hibachi was ok too. Nothing special Late night room service was also disgusting, the chicken sand which was way overcooked The spa was AMAZING. The massage included the sauna, cold plunge and steam room. The actual massage by Amarista was amazing. Softest hands ever! I paid extra for an ocean view room but you could barely see the ocean from my room. I complained about the room but they were unable to move bc it was sold out. The next morning, they were so apologetic and upgraded me to another room. Alan was the desk manager and was so nice! You can only get top shelf alcohol at the pool if you have a premium membership which isn’t uncommon for Cancún but still worth mentioning The overall experience was a 4/5. If the food were better, it would be a 5/5.

Food quality - subpar at best. Food was cold at the buffets and even in some of the signature restaurants. steaks poorly cooked (not the right temp) Food availability - essential oil diffuser in the italian restaurant had us walk in, turn around and walk out. Not a good thing for people with asthma. reservation system could use some work. Room Service - aside from the cardboard excuse for the cheese cake room service was excellent. fast, hot, reasonable selection. we did this 2 or 3x and were very satisfied Music volume - seriously it's a joke and starts out fine and by mid to late afternoon is intolerable. Evenings at Bash are even worse. Room condition - we video taped the room as there were so many nicks in the wood, walls, etc. that we didn't want to get charged when we checked out. There have been reports of that happening to people so we made sure we protected ourselves Pros - staff was great. Coffee Shop - I am an early riser and it was great to have the coffee shop right off the lobby and the attendees quickly knew me by name, how I liked my coffee, etc.

This property is great if you like a free spirit mind set and a constant party! Best restaurants were the hibachi and Italian. Great bartenders were Lulu, Carlos and Ervin! Walking distance to ferry to get to Isla which is perfect and property security is top notch. Don't come to Temptations if you are looking for a relaxing environment, five star restaurants, a swimmable beach or if you are a prude!

There is no other hotel quite like this. It’s not the most luxurious, but definitely has a fancy, sexy vibe. Wife and I will definitely be going back. It’s such a fun environment and the food was surprisingly good.

The idea of “reveal your desires and inhibitions”…, but reality was very low class people acting like teenagers. These were mainly 40-60 year olds! The emcee had zero class. The guests were just so low brow that it made it absolutely no fun! We felt so uncomfortable there, that we left before spending the night there. Strongly recommend to avoid this place.
