I’ve been to many RIU Hotels. Las Americas was fantastic. The service was incredible. Staff are amazing. Thank you Enrique for your amazing service at the pool. Thank you Abu at the lobby bar. You are special. Thank you Irving and Sebastian…check in was lovely. Felipe is incredibly efficient on beach service. Staff at the steakhouse on our last night were so great (Nov. 20th). I never write reviews but this vacation was exceptional. Thank you RIU. We will be back. 👌

Staff was amazing. Felt spoiled from the moment we got to the hotel. The restaurants were really good, especially the Italian and the 24 hour lounge very convenient. Miguel and the little kid with a mustache were the best entertainment; they started very early and were multiuse, they were everywhere making everyone laugh, they were just amazing. Older crowd during th week and younger crowd on the weekend. The facility and rooms were clean. I have nothing to complain about.

The evening shows were great. Zero to very short wait for restaurants. Rooms were cool. Water hot. Great water pressure. Special requests were accommodated. Staff super friendly. Walking distance to shops. Felt safe. All rooms have good ocean view. Food always available regardless of time of day. The neon party at the neighboring RIU was super fun for all ages, shapes and sizes—don’t miss out! Saw a couple beach vendors but they didn’t stay long. Not sure if it’s because nobody was buying or because staff chased them away. Whatever the case it was nice not being bothered. We would totally go back to this resort.

the only thing I did not like was that, the bathroom and shower smelled really really bad. I asked the staff on my first night to help the shower drainage because of the smell. It did not have an exhaust fan. I could not sleep at night because the smell was so strong. The staff and food were amazing. The couch in the room is so dated. They should replace it with leather or plastic cover. There are stains everywhere and again the smell was not pleasant at all.

Overall the property is good. Typical All-inclusive buffet. The drinks are ok. The beach area doesn’t have good connection pass for long walk due to rocks on one side.

Great overall hotel! Its more of a mature crowd so don't expect on-site parties and entertainment but they do offer shuttle buses to go to thier other RIU locations close by where they have dancing and better entertainment

The hotel Riu was perfect in every way. The hotel staff was amazing. They were so attentive.
