By far, this hotel was the worst hotel I have experienced in my entire life. Most of the staff are so unkind and arrogant, the concierge told me to go to the restaurant myself to confirm the reservation because he does not have a "phone" - honestly it is a problem if you don't have a phone while your job is a concierge and secondly, I don't care how you manage to confirm my booking - just do it because it is your job. The front desk also did not inform of their facilities when check-in so I had to discover they had a nice lounge for hotel guest with complimentary coffee and bakery on OUR LAST DAY thanks to the bell boy. Also they skipped housekeeping one day and did not apologize for it. So thanks Newbury hotel for the worst hospitality - I will never be coming back. You guys do not deserve five stars at best.

The hotel is impeccable and gorgeous. Checkin was difficult because they messed up my reservation, which took half an hour to straighten out, but when they did, they upgraded us to a one bedroom corner park view suite that goes for $2,300. It was amazing. We ate dinner at Contessa which has a great vibe and food. Service overall - everyone we talked to - was superb, even when they messed up the reservation. They were kind and apologetic. The only place where it was lacking was in the street bar where I had to get up and ask for a waiter then ask where our pot of tea was ($13 for a pot of mint tea!), then get up again to ask for the check. But overall this hotel does it right.

Excellent service! Beautiful and charming hotel. The hotel was at the perfect location and walking distance to all the shops, parks and restaurants. The staff were so welcoming! We also loved the hotel/ bar downstairs. Food and drinks were excellent. We were so sad to have to leave early due to the hurricane and management was so helpful in helping us resolve this. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at The Newbury Boston hotel . The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Elegance met comfort in a perfect harmony at this hotel. The location was perfect, close to wonderful shopping and the beautiful park.Overall, a wonderful experience—we are for sure coming back!

The Newbury is a beautiful hotel with a staff that makes you feel welcomed and pampered! We were helped at every turn with anything we needed. They were friendly, easy to talk to and gave great recommendations. We had three very special days at this place. We thank each one who had a part. David, one of the concierges, Chad, who served us as a bell hop (is that still the right term? were so kind. There were more but their names have left me. God Bless each and every one!
