We had a wonderful stay at this hotel . The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful . The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t have been better—situated in the heart of the city, everything I wanted to see and do was just a few minutes’ walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and perfectly located place to stay in Amsterdam.

Hotel was dirty, sheets haven't changed and when we requested new sheet they couldn't provide because there were no staff but only night guard. This is not a hotel but more like hostel or dormitory style. At photos it seemed very nice, fresh and clean and so I booked. First night I had to check out again and went to another hotel. Thanks to Expedia staff and their help I could manage to get my half money back. Dirty - Sheets unchanged, toilet waste clean, even cloth hangers was dirty I couldn't hang my white shirts. Old - Beside pictures interior was really dark and gloomy. Bad lighting, old pantings, stains at corner of bathroom wall like rust. Staff - Lack of staff and even staff complained to us about how management doesn't care about cleaning or better service because their location is too central and they fully booked easily. I never recommend to anyone this hotel. There are better options at Expedia for same price and close to that location.

XO Hotel offers a great location, making it convenient for exploring the city, though the area can be a bit noisy at times. The rooms are average – clean and functional. However, considering the price point, it's a decent value for money, especially for travelers prioritizing location over premium amenities.

This definitely is not a 3 star hotel. It’s maybe a 1 and a half star hotel. The bathroom and rooms smelled bad. The TV didn’t work and there was mold and cracks throughout the room and bathroom. I will not be going back. It’s sleepable. Also, it’s really hard to get to the rooms. The stairs are very narrow and it’s not accessible at all.

Room 33 is the worst room, it has walkways on 3 sides and the canteen on the 4th. The bed is positioned next to the door, so I spent 2 nights feeling like I'm sleeping in a hallway.

Staff were really helpful and very accommodating with your needs. Really enjoyed staying there as a base to do everything. Room was clean, beds comfortable and had lots of space for clothes.
