XO Hotel offers a great location, making it convenient for exploring the city, though the area can be a bit noisy at times. The rooms are average – clean and functional. However, considering the price point, it's a decent value for money, especially for travelers prioritizing location over premium amenities.

This definitely is not a 3 star hotel. It’s maybe a 1 and a half star hotel. The bathroom and rooms smelled bad. The TV didn’t work and there was mold and cracks throughout the room and bathroom. I will not be going back. It’s sleepable. Also, it’s really hard to get to the rooms. The stairs are very narrow and it’s not accessible at all.

Room 33 is the worst room, it has walkways on 3 sides and the canteen on the 4th. The bed is positioned next to the door, so I spent 2 nights feeling like I'm sleeping in a hallway.

Underwhelmed with the hotel compared to the pictures. Location is great, breakfast was alright and bed was fine. The bathroom was dated and carpet not clean. Central areas not clean.

I cant explain in words how bad my experience was here. I had to walk out from that hotel after the conceireg guy harrased me, called me with names based on my skin and nationality. Racist person ever I have met. After I responded back he threated me that he will shoot me. I involved the manager carolina eehiuz she refused to provide me the name of the guy and asked me to remove my glasses so she can look at me. Really? She was rude and unprofessional. She said Do whatever I can but they will not take action on the incident. Unfortunately, I had to involve police and my embassy and other authorities. Please think thousands times before you chose this stinky hotel and disgusting staff including the manager. They still have not refunded my funds. Good luck who stays at this dirty mafia hotel.

I was a bit sceptical at first after reading a lot of negative reviews. However I was pleasantly surprised, as I didn’t think it was that bad, we enjoyed our stay we only went there to sleep anyway, beds was comfortable, with clean sheets. It is a 3 star hotel and not a 4 star I think people have to high expectations when entering this 3 star hotel, it was good for us and the area surrounding was amazing and central to everything no need to take public transport, would stay again!

Great location. Staff and services were terrible. No hot water for a 2-night stay. We told them twice and they did nothing. Didn’t even try apologizing or offering a different room. Extremely disappointed.

The hotel was conveniently located next to everything. The staff was friendly and courtesy as well as helpful with instructions getting around. The only problem i had was the AC was out but it wasn't a problem for it wasn't terribly hot when we visited, plus the hotel provided a fan for the room. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Having stayed in numerous hotels in Amsterdam, we have enjoyed our stay at XO city centre by far the most. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful (particularly June). The hotel itself is located right in the centre, with our double room and twin rooms being very reasonably sized. Aircon was much appreciated too. Thank you for everything and we cant wait to stay again in the future!

If you you get room 12 good luck it's extremely warm at night, no windows open they don't bother fixing the aircon, they give you a make shift portable fan which actually heats up the room which makes it hotter & and when you highlight the issue to the evening staff you get shouted at whilst they give a small terrible fan that doesn't do anything, you're better off sleeping in a cardboard box on the streets Terrible Hotel, Terrible service, Terrible staff and mostly the owners is terribly selfish for not only putting his staff throughout constant stress of dealing with these issue's but for not getting these problems fixed as I've been told multiple room's are in bad shape Avoid at all cost

This hotel has one of the most central locations in all of Amsterdam. If you want to be close to all the action, this is the place to go! The hotel itself is older, which is to be expected. There is an elevator but we also had to take a few flights of stairs to get to our room. The staff is friendly and will hold your bags after check out. I definitely recommend.
