Excellent affordable hotel in central location
A very affordable but beautiful Hotel with the friendliest concierge staff! It is located right by the Van Gogh museum and less than a mile walk from most other attractions. The room itself was very clean and a good size for two people. Gorgeous lobby bar as well!

Close to everything, makes everything walkable. Room was a bit dusty, sink gets clogged easily even upon arrival, shower shampoo didn’t work, a lot of small annoyances, expected better. Parking is also annoying, I got stuck in the car elevator shaft for like 10 minutes upon arrival.

The room layout is absolutely horrible. The toilet is practically in the room and this is bad for privacy and smell reasons. The ventilation is poor in the room even when the AC is turned on. Do not recommend for a two person stay in a single standard room.

The room stayed dirty the entire week I was there, no matter how many times I asked to clean it. And when they finally cleaned it, they left all the dirty mugs with drinks in it and didn’t change the sheets. The property has a very convenient location to the Christmas market. The wifi was NOT good, super slow.

Upon check in had to pay 100 euros per night per room, not the advertised 50 euros on hotels.com, the deposit minus any deductions they feel fit to take will be refunded within 10 business days. No prices advertised in the room for refreshments only a small qr reader if you have access to one. Left bags and went out for the day on return asked to check in again with another deposit and show passports again even after explaining we had already done this and showed receipts as proof. Arrived at the room, not the deluxe twin we paid for, however because of mobility issues we were then moved to the deluxe we paid for. Don't expect to get drinks of any sort from the bar after 10.15 pm, as it is not open until 11 like advertised, we did raise this issue on numerous nights as it was not a one off, we were told it was staffing issues. People were turned away and sent to other establishments for refreshments. One of the reasons we chose this hotel over Christmas was for it's facilities. As a frequent worldwide traveller in my opinion it did not feel like a four star hotel. It's only saving grace was it's position in the museum quarter and close to lots of restaurants and shops.

We had a wonderful stay, the staff is friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, the room was nice an warm and clean. The hotel is close to many museums and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
