The Highlander was very quaint and unique . It was centrally located. We had a king room and it was the perfect size. Would highly recommend.

Location was perfect! Hotel and rooms were clean and the complimentary coffee upon arrival was a nice touch. Staff were polite and helpful. The AC however was not in working order despite their computer system saying that it was working. The room was very warm and we were unable to even open the window to get some relief from the very warm, stuffy air, as a result sleeping was difficult. This was our only complaint with the property, everything else was great.

less than average at a very premium price point. rooms are dark and depressing, shower had a very strong ammonia smell that would not go away, bed was very sqeaky, there was only 1 elevator for the entire hotel - we waited 5 minutes for the elevator to arrive on the morning of check out. the hotel had quite an unprofessional vibe, no staff uniforms, no greetings, do designated reception… this hotel is not worth the price, find something else…

Before i arrived at the Highlander i had reason to contact them several times. On every occasion the Reception staff were most helpful. This conitinued for the duration of our stay. With the chaos of the crowdstrike outage the staff were most helpful in checking flight info and accommodation options in event of delay. This was most appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and apart from the light switches everything was great. More options on the TV would be an improvement. The breakfast was fresh & substantive in a relaxed atmosphere. The location is good with easy access to transport, food, shops etc. Highly recommend but the credit must go to all the Reception staff. Once again thank you for makjng our stay more relaxed, comfortable & pleasant.

Great hotel with nice clean rooms and friendly staff. The area wasn’t our favourite, we prefer Leidseplein, but still okay. Lots around the property but the property itself is the highlight.
