The hotel was very clean and up-to-date and the staff was wonderful however the amenities were very spartan (maybe it’s a European thing) but the lack of even the small things like a clock, a phone some niceties in our room was a bit disappointing especially for the amount of money paid on a nightly basis.

The young man who checked us in was absolutely fantastic. While everything else about our stay (room, staff, etc.) was great, he was the shining star that stands out. He was efficient, professional, kind, and went above & beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed and information that was helpful as we navigated Amsterdam. The hotel is a short 5-7 min walk to the Waterlooplein metro station & also accessible by other forms of public transit, but I would not advise walking (w/luggage) from Centraal station, it’s a little far for that! I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again if my future travel plans had me in this part of Amsterdam again.
