Loved that the hotel was within a 30-min walk to plenty of sights and the central area of Amsterdam. The area around property is very quiet and away from the crowds, but just note that means you're a bit further away from restaurants/bars that are open late.

The area was close to the train station and the pier, that was why we chose this property. Was clean and breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we visit Amsterdam again.

Great staff, good location, view was disappointing
Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Location is great - short walk to be in the action. Room was spacious and looked very clean, but still smelled like BO so I opened the windows to air it out while we explored for the day and when we got back it was fine. The bed was cozy. The only disappointment for me was that I paid extra for a canal view and got a room on the first floor that was more of a dirty roof and an old industrial building view. Technically it was a canal view, but just not what I had hoped for. In my opinion, room 111 is not recommended for the full effect of a canal view, however, it was a larger room than what I expected.

Enjoyed our stay, very nice and comfortable hotel
The hotel was very nice and the staff gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The staff even made gluten free bread for my husband which was delicious. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the city center but we didn’t mind the location. Would stay here again!

Had many options to choose from but this was the one, this is really it, walkable to anywhere or close to the very good public transportation Amsterdam has to offer. Nice hotel in the heart of Amsterdam, separate from the noisy parts of the city, yet very close to them. At check in, we were greeted with a cup of wine, staff was welcoming, helpful and ready to answer any questions. Didn’t get to explore all amenities as we were out most of the time, but it was sure nice to get back and have a clean room to go back to and relax. The only suggestion would be to have a variety of pillows to choose from as the ones provided will deflate. Overall, a beautiful hotel, highly recommended.

A lovely stay at the Monet Garden Hotel.
We had a lovely one night stay with breakfast at this centrally located hotel in Amsterdam. We were greeted by a hotel staff who was friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was nicely appointed with a walk-in shower and good sized bathroom. We were on the first floor facing away from the street which was great for sleeping. The bed was a comfortable queen size. Breakfast was on the main level, the selection was great with many options including sautéed veggies and small egg quiches. We walked or used Uber to most destinations. The Van Gogh Museum is about a 25-30 minute walk. We were very pleased with our stay.

The entire property was very clean and walking distance to all sites. The room was very clean and well kept. The staff were wonderful, polite and very helpful. I totally enjoyed my stay and whenever in Amsterdam I will stay there.!
