Dear Saara, we are sorry our hotel did not meet with your expectations. Other guests can be quite loud for you to hear but as an historic building not all of our walls can be made sound proof.

Hi Marija, we are indeed located in a very quiet part of the city center within 2 minutes walk of Dam square. Our new green square will hopefully bloom this summer.
There's a coffee shop/cafe on site. WiFi is free in public spaces. A vending machine, multilingual staff, and tour/ticket assistance are also featured at Hotel Nova. This 3-star Amsterdam hotel is smoke free.
