Dear guest, Thank you for your lovely review. Your feedback is very much appreciated. It is very pleasant to hear that you like our interior and the room that you have stayed in. Our apologies for the fact that the room did not have a double bed at first when you checked in. However, a request for a double bed is based on availability. Unfortunately on your day of arrival we had no double bed available in the roomtype you have booked, this is why my colleague offered you an upgrade to a roomtype which would have one. On the day of your arrival there was also no topper available any more but the day after there was. This is why we offered to make your room a double the next day. We do understand that this was inconvenient, again our sincere apologies. We are very happy to hear that beside from the inconvenience you have experienced, you enjoyed your stay at Hotel Mercier.
