The property is very well situated in the city, with everything close by. However, the door locking mechanism is very strange (having to return the key every time I leave), and the gym is very cramped for what it is. However, all of the staff are very professional and hospitable, and everything is clean.

We booked the hotel for a Canal view of Amsterdam pride from our hotel room. We had no idea it would be large enough to host a party of 20 or 40 people if you wanted and the windows opened to Juliet balcony directly of the parade. It was absolutely fantastic and the staff were extremely welcoming and loving spirited super super super experience here . Plus free wine and pop and beer in the fridge!!

Great property at a very convenient location, trams are just a few steps from the hotel. Most attractions are walkable. Tram ride using line 2 or 12 takes you to the central station. Breakfast was delicious and staff are very attentive. Our room was big and the amenities are top notch .

Loved the spacious rooms, wonderful staff and location of this hotel. It is located on a canal and in a busy tourist area with lots of shopping, night life and dining options. There is construction of a hotel next door and road work in front of hotel while we were there, otherwise would have rated the area around the property a 5.

A very well-located hotel with old-world charm. Some friendly staff, some stand-offish. A great breakfast buffet with friendly staff- but as it wasn't included for us, we only used it once as it was 20 euros per person and we are not big breakfast eaters. A variety of coffee from a great machine available free, all day long in a nice sitting area. Shower was erratic and went from hot to cold to hot again, while you were in it! A bit pricey, but you're paying for the canal-front location and easy access to the whole city.

This was a great location, very clean, super friendly and helpful staff. There was some street noise on Friday night, but with our balcony door shut we hardly noticed. There is a construction zone currently near the entrance, but this did not bother us at all. Will definitely stay here again. Great value as well.

Great hotel- super good location for walking the city center. Road construction on the bridge right outside the hotel- so our cab couldn’t even get close- had to drag our bags. The bridge should be redone in a few weeks I would guess. 7-24
