This was a family trip. My husband and I were with our kids, ages 17-22, and my parents. There was plenty of place to sleep and the beds were pretty comfortable. My kids especially enjoyed the pool table and the arcade games. We all enjoyed walking around the quiet neighborhood, watching the wildlife and playing card gems. We also enjoyed some of the extras, like a live band at the clubhouse and the tennis courts. The location was perfect for visiting Jim Thorpe, which was the reason for our staying in the area. It is also very close to Hickory Run State Park and we spent an afternoon hiking the Shades of Death tail there. The host was easy to communicate with. Texts were answered very quickly. There’s no air conditioning but we were comfortable with the windows open and the fan on. One thing to note: there are bedrooms and a full bathroom on the bottom floor but the main kitchen in on the second floor. Having a parent with some mobility issues, I was initially worried that this wouldn’t work well for us. But in the end it was fine, as the stairs were carpeted and had a railing that made it possible for my mom to successfully manage the stairs. However, for some this might pose a problem. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we highly recommend it!
