Nice hotel, great location. The room and overall hotel was clean. You can tell that the property needs some updates by the chipped paint, rust, and rickety elevator. That takes away from the charm of the hotel but not a dealbreaker. It’s still worth a visit. They include free breakfast and a complimentary wine happy/social hour. Looks like it’s a daily thing too :) don’t quote me though, ask the hotel.

From the moment we entered the cozy and inviting lobby, we knew we booked the right place. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. We had made it just in time for their complimentary social hour, which offered white and red wine plus a gin cocktail. After getting our drink, we cozied up in front of the fireplace. We did this each night of our stay and because of the lobby's layout, we met and engaged with other travelers. This was an added bonus because we met people from England and all across the US. The room was spacious with views of the city and blackout shades for sleeping. The location is a solid 10 because it is in the heart of the city with countless things to do. This will be our go-to hotel anytime we are in Philly.
