Nice basic hotel. Easy walk to Times Square, Rockefeller tree, 5th Ave. You can hear everything through the walls, finally became quiet from 1-6am.

Everything we were looking for
The location of this hotel in perfect! We walked almost everywhere and for things that were too far, there were subway stations close by. The little deli next door was great for a quick bite and morning coffee. The hotel itself was clean and Joey at the front desk made our stay extra great with his friendly personality and hospitality. We will be back for sure.

Perfect location, incredibly friendly service
Within a few blocks of EVERYTHING, this quaint hotel is clean, reasonably priced and safe. Within minutes walking distance of Times Square, there are countless restaurants and activities from which to choose. Joey's service at the front desk is noteworthy. He was adorable, enthusiastic, super helpful, and added much color to an already colorful and vivid trip.

This is not a luxury resort. It is a classic hotel from a decade old era. You can tell how fancy it must have been in its glory days. The elevators are very small and appear to be original. The room was clean. My room was a little noisy as I was viewing the street. Rooms are heated by a very old radiator heater and cooled with a window unit. You do not have a thermostat. Overall, it provided me with a clean and warm place to stay for my December expedition. The location is fabulous. Easy walking distance to most touristy places. There are no amenities at this hotel. No snacks/vending, no room service, and only 1 ice machine on the 1st floor. This didn’t matter to us. We knew we would be in our room for a minimal amount of time anyway.

The room was extremely cold there was a draft of cold air coming from the windows. The heat somewhat kicked on but it was very loud. The radiator made noise so and on all night walking us up.

This hotel is in a fabulous location! It's quaint (old) and clean. The rooms are fine (bed was comfortable), but nothing special. However, if you're visiting NYC, you're not there for the hotel - and the staff are awesome.
