A good, no-frills deal.
This hotel offered no-frills sleeping only but did it well. Don't expect food, wall art in your room, or fancy soaps/shampoos. Things look a little beat-up here as well. But it was quiet, comfortable and immaculately clean. For the price we paid, I highly recommend it as a place to rest your head for the night.

Excellent location, very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. The bathroom had seen better times (cracked tiles, stiff faucets, trickle shower). There were no tea/coffee machines in the room. The “bar” in the lobby was just decorative.

Great hotel in the perfect location. Just off Times square, right where you need to be. All your food and drink needs are sorrted with a nice little deli next door. Staff really nice and friendly. Basic accommodation but thats you need for a city break like this.

It is clean and convenient. It’s one block from Times Square, there is a deli next door, lots of options for food around. We had a great time. Oh, and we loved Joey at the front desk, such a breath of fresh air!!

This hotel was in a great location. It was within walking distance of almost everything you would want to see in NYC. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay there again!

Service with a smile and a great location!
Every person we came into contact with was incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel had a really ciol vintage vibe and the room was very clean. I'll be seeing them again!

Sometimes it’s a gamble with NYC hotels, especially if you are not paying top top dollar. I viewed many properties and reviews on Expedia and google, the reviews didn’t disappoint. For me I like beautiful dated buildings. This one you could tell was top of the line back in the day. I came for one night. My only complaint was there was a few hair pieces on my pillow definitely wasn’t mine. I never brought the issue up because one I was so tired and I didn’t see hair on the other pillows and the heat was extreme! The rooms were too toasty! But it’s an older heater so understandable. Location is great and staff was kind.

The location of this property is ideal. Minutes away from Rockefeller center, Radio City Music Hall and Times Square (while walking). They were accommodating for one in our party that was mobility impaired and had to use a scooter however, lift was locked until front desk was bothered. Elevator was too small to bring the scooter upstairs. The accessble room was only in name for the space. No rails for shower access, (wasn’t a walk in shower) and the towel rack was loose from others trying to get in and out. The mattress in the same room was an ironing board’s softness. Terrible. The convenient store and bar directly next door were highlights. 45 min cab ride from LaGuardia but needed no transportation for what we wanted to see (Macys, Bryant market, 5th Avenue, St Peters Cathedral, Times Square, etc…)

They were VERY friendly, but the hotel is old. That doesn't mean that the mattress had to be old...possibly worst mattress i've ever had in a hotel--it squeaked and had zero support. The radiator woke me up both nights clanking.

Great help from the people at the front desk. Let us have an extra hour for late check out. Great area and close to all kinds of stuff. Not even a block from time square and great restaurants across the street. Little convenience store like next door. I highly recommend O'Connelys pub and restaurant. Just a couple doors down and delicious!
