They fail to inform you of the extra $5.00 charge.
They fail to mention they charge $50.00 (refundable) for damage deposit BUT KEEP.AN EXTRA $5.00 For charging you. Nowhere does it say that, so the room is basicly $5.00 more. Between Super 8 here in Wheeling and the one in Gettysburg PA I will never stay at another Wyndham Property. I'll also not use hotels.com, Expedia, booking ECT... My next trip I'll simply look up hotels in my area and book directly. No more money for nothing. Most importantly, no more Super 8 for any reason.

The room was clean, but the bed was excessively high and the blanket was thin and slick and it slipped right off the bed leaving you with just a sheet. Upon check in I was informed about a $5 fee that would be charged because a $50 deposit was required and would be refunded if the room was left ok but the $5 was charged in order to get your deposit back. Dont understand that.

You get what you pay for. I'd stay there again for the same price. The staff was very friendly and Wheeling is a nice area. I'd definitely recommend a room that doesn't face the highway.

Manger got smart with me was told one price through you guys and got to the hotel and they charge me more the manger yelled at me and when he talked to me he was spitting on me called me names and everything

Staff was horrible. Literally threw my card and paperwork on the counter. Didn’t tell me what I needed to sign. People were smoking pot in the rooms and made the whole floor smell. At 3am guests decided to have an argument in the hallway. If you are planing on staying here, just go a little further up the road and stay somewhere at the Highlands.

Rooms are dirty. I wore white socks for an hour and the bottoms were black. Internet was sketchy at best. I worked night shift and needed to extend my stay by 1 night and there was nobody at the fro t desk and I waited over an hour to check in for the extension. I slept during the day and even with the sign on the door, housekeeping still knocked on the door every hour. DO NOT STAY HERE. RUN AWAY!!

Review of Aug9th Stay
The Fitness Center was 'Out of Order', which was disappointing. I tried the internet password several times, and verified it with the gentleman at the desk, but after all that I still got the message that the password was incorrect. Otherwise, the room was clean and the service was good.
