Expect much better for the price
Considering I paid $700 per night I expected much better, yes it’s an iconic hotel but at that price it’s not worth it. The bathroom is small, bathtub didn’t fill due to an outdated drain, bathtub was chipped. Checkin was slow and crowded. One restaurant for a hotel like this? Staff did their best but they can only do so much given the ordinary hotel infrastructure. I felt I was taken advantage of at this price.

Great location. Housekeeping and restaurant (Notch8) staffs were excellent. Front desk (check-in / check-out) was below par. I was surprised that I had to self-register my car for parking, I was aware of the fee, but this was the first time I had to self-register my car for parking at any hotels. I thought this was a five-star hotel.

All of the front of house staff were courteous and attentive. The house keeping staff on my floor were always pleasant and greeted me whenever I passed through the hallways. I felt very welcomed. The rooms were impeccable. I will most certainly return!
