Nice clean place. Lots of homeless just like the rest of San Fran. But the bus stop is close and near businesses. Right next to grocery if you need something vs DoorDash.

Ok place to stay

Epik is ok. The prices are good, but when you check in, they hold a deposit of $250, which is quite a lot for a hotel like this. It's nothing fancy.The neighborhood isn't great and you have to park at a lot or garage elsewhere and walk to the hotel.

Great job on the remodel since my last visit. Love the open bathroom concept with barn door, very cool. Comfortable bed, big fluffy pillows.

I recently stayed at Hotel EPIK and found it to be clean, modern, and hip. My room was immaculate, the AC ran ice cold, and it was in a perfect location within walking distance to Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. However, the surrounding area has a significant homeless population, my room had a slightly musky smell, and the window facing the escape stairs didn't lock. Overall, it was a good stay with a few minor issues.

Unfortunately hotel room smells a lot, and there's roaches around the wall. Upon booking- reviews are good but that doesn't seem so true when you get there, and also it's an unsafe area. We had to stay for the night and check- out the next day morning- The guy in front desk didn't even bother to ask why.. I know it's cheaper in this hotel but to make your visit & stay with high satisfaction book yourself a nice hotel in Fisherman's wharf.
