Not what it says on the tin

Hotel was ideally situated for buses/trams to go uptown. We picked the motel as it had ideal parking facilities. The website pictures provided are very clearly out of date!! or taken at an angle, which shows a deceptive size. We didn't even see a business room! On arrival we were asked where we wanted a room - ground floor, 1st floor or corner. We picked 1st floor, out of the way, and when we went in I could have cried !!! The room had no storage for our clothes, a rickety lamp, and there was no plug in the bath and you could see right down the drain. However the bedding and towels were clean. We went to reception to change rooms and were told, by another member of staff, that there weren't any available. I explained that we had been asked where in the motel we wanted too go. We also explained that the rooms were not as described on the website, we didn't have a fridge either - she admitted that the photos were out of date. She offered us another room which was we asked to look at before we accepted. This room was better, so we swapped. The breakfast room had 5 tiny round tables but to be fair this made it overcrowded and you wouldn't be able to fill every chair. The breakfast itself was not great - fresh coffee and juice - polystyrene cups, apples and then a choice of pastries individually wrapped in packets or cereal bars - nothing fresh. There is a Mcdonalds up the road! As we are a couple, who only use our room as a base, we could manage once we'd changed rooms, but it is not a place to stay on a holiday. Of the 3 places we stayed in the US it was the dearest and worse. Honest pictures need to be provided and it certainly isn't worth £100 a night. We have done cheap and cheerful rooms before - this was neither cheap or cheerful !!!!
