It was great. Even though Talixo transport screwed up my return transfer. The resort was kindly enough to arrange transfer to the airport. Very kind! Joel was awesome! Will return soon!

Buy! Buy! Buy! That’s all they want is for you to join their membership. Watch out if you don’t! You basically get the bare bones no matter how much you spent, what kind of room you had, or how many spa treatments you did. Joke! No set schedule for restaurants. You never know where breakfast, lunch or dinner will be next. Just walk around searching or follow the herding cattle!! Joke! Zero notice and of not opening a restaurant for dinner regardless of hours of operation posted. Joke! No one speaks English so you can’t even ask questions to get around. Joke! Steak house menu shows various steaks, finally get reservations there are two steaks to choose from or pay for them. One of the steaks came it was whitish in color (looked like pork chop), needless to say got very ill off of it. Pushy staff in the steak house telling you to fill out review based on her. Come to find out it’s the s based on hotel. Joke! Upgraded to have butler! Oh no you only get that released to you if you join the membership. Joke! All inclusive? Nope! You get points for everyday to shop for beer and liquor in the store on resort for your room!! Trust me that does not cover it. Oh ya and the resort credits $750? You don’t get to just use that as you see fit. You get a little off of this thing a little off of that thing! Joke! 24hr room service. Same four choices everyday or pay or of course if you’re a member that’s different!! They say 45 mins max. That would be understandable but, 1 - 2

This property is definitely not adults only. There are kids everywhere. When I called Expedia to tell them because I paid extra for it to be adults only they offered me a $50 credit and I booked room for four People. They told me oh the property has another link for families. Beware There is no separation from adults only I even had kids at the bar area and during nightly shows . The buffet is only open for breakfast till 11 AM. After that the only food you can get until 12:30 PM is a coffee shop. The one good restaurant the steakhouse says that you do not need reservations, but when you go, they tell you they are full every night. The sad part is they get emailed a list for reservations but it’s only for the people who sign up to become their prestige members. The $250 credit promise to VIP platinum. Expedia members is a joke you do not get anything but a couple dollars off, the services they have on their property. The shower was not built right and the water leaks out Due to the flat . The only thing that made this property are the Bartenders.

Warning stay away from this property! We rented a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms for a total of 8 guests. Upon check in the front desk staff emphasized to make sure we have 8 towels because even if we dont now when we check put we will be charged up to 8 if they are not there. Upon getting to the room we only found 2 towels for the entire apartment. We called the front desk and they said they would send what is missing. The staff showed up to our room at 3 am yes AM knocking on the doors with towels and waking up everyone. When we open the door they only brought us 2 more towels from the 6 that were missing. I called the next day and asked to speak to a manager which they said they would call us back. The bathrooms had absolutely no shower gel (the bottle was empty) and everything was dirty. There was used underwares and socks under the bed. Mold in the bathroom moldings. You cant sit in the patio furniture as it is full of mold as well. There is not enough seats around the pool. I continue to call and ask for a manager with no response. I was there for 3 days and despite asking multiple times for management no one ever called back like promised. The room looked like the staff never really prepped it for a new rental. The property needs alot of maintenance which is not done. The hallways are amelly and full of stains.

Amazingly attentive staff- so accommodating and went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and ensure we were happy. Very clean and well maintained- comfortable beds and pillows. We stayed in a Cilla and was so impressed with the space and comfort of the room. Our butler, Eramy, made sure we were well taken care of at all times. We would go again, without hesitation.

Staff and services are obsolete, especially when you’re out by the pool or on the beach there are no staff in sight. You have to look for staff constantly to get the services you need. Me and my wife got turned away from two restaurants because they ran out of food or would not take anymore dinning customers . We have never had an experience like this at an all inclusive especially at 7:30pm. The craziest part dinner is until 10pm. Several other restaurants would provide a menu and explain they did not have certain meals on the menu so we wouldn’t order them. Not something I would expect from a Margaritaville. We love staying at Margaritaville in Mexico service is amazing there. This was our first trip to Dominican Republic Margaritaville and will be our last to this facility. We also had to take our luggage to and from our room another lack of service from this facility. The grounds are nice and the music entertainment was good otherwise I rate this as an overall a 3 star.. they need more staff and take care of there clients better.. especially when you tip them well..
