Nice stay in Carmel
Suite was spacious with a large kitchen. Very clean and quiet. Bonus parking space next to the suite. We had a nice 1 night stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Newport Beach. We had a balcony room towards the rear of the property and it was very quiet. The place has been recently renovated and it appears they are still in the process. Our bathroom was either missing a light on the wall or they forgot to paint where the old one was . Our room had a few bumps in the carpet which felt like either nails were popping up or the subfloor wasn’t level. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom shower was spacious. Overall it was a good stay.

Although my stay was cut short I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Vendage and will stay again in a heartbeat. It was very clean, very lovely. The staff are extremely friendly and caring. I made immediate friends. Thank you so much during a very trying time. Blessings

I booked the room because it had a fireplace and when we got in the room there was a note inside the fireplace that read do not use out of order. Then when we were taking our luggage out to the car we came back to the room and some man was already in the room and we hadn’t even checked out yet.

Cozy, Comfortable and Convenient
This is my go-to hotel when I visit Carmel since I’m there visiting family who live close by. It’s cozy, comfortable and close to the village of Carmel. Will definitely return!

This Inn has been a huge disappointment given it’s location in the beautiful Carmel. The receptionist was very unwelcoming and curt. The room was small and the carpeted floor was uneven and bumpy. Also the rooms are on a very busy main road that kept us awake all night. We later found earplugs in the nightstand drawer. The grounds were green and nice but not well manicured. We would not recommend this place!

One night stay in Carmel.
Desk clerk was not at desk when we got there. She left a note that she would be right back. Very friendly. Room was very SMALL! No room for a little table or even to turn around. It was also right by the street so pretty noisy. After dark it got a bit quieter.

It is right on the highway loud traffic and construction work. Pillow and sheets smelt like a wet dog. I paid for 2 nights, only stayed 1 night wish I could get my money back.

Our room was small but cute. Everything looked clean, I think our only complaint was that the bed dipped way too much towards the headboard and the pillows were so soft. We’re personally more used to a firm mattress, though. Also, it is walking distance from downtown, but we had to walk on the side of the road right next to cars for most of the way. It’s definitely not “walkable”. It was right in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, though, which I appreciated.
