I asked for an upgrade as Melia website was down and by signing up you could get a room upgrade. However, the front desk rep gave us the tiniest room call it a micro room. There is no sitting area in the lobby, just a building. We could hardly get our luggage around the bed in the room. The room AC in the hotel was out for 2 out of the three day in our stay. When I asked front desk for some concession on price paid, he refused. His answer is outside is cold. Not sure what that has to do with room temperature being over 80 degrees. Way overpriced for the room and hotel and would never stay at this hotel.
