Shay was very trendy modern design hotel. The room was clean and on point. I had a room with a patio sitting area. The staff at check-in was very nice. The pool was nice and all the servers were attentive. Dog friendly was a plus.

Amazing spot and walkable to Erewhon, Trader Joe’s, Coffee, Dining and more. Close to USC (20 mins). Great staff and beautiful rooms. Will stay again!

I give the rooms 5 stars. The design is excellent and the beds are very comfortable. My one complaint is that it takes about 5 minutes for the hot water to arrive in the shower. I stayed 3 days and it was an issue no matter what time of day I showered. Maybe it was an 6th floor issue. Also the pool is cloudy and dingy (lots of kids and French fries). I was surprised at how dirty the chaise chairs around the pool looked. Beyond that the roof pool area has a super cool vibe.

Great stay, room was wonderful clean and comfortable. The entire staff was very helpful especially the 2 front desk ladies. The staff was very nice and helpful. The property was well kept, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. Location was very convenient for us as our main attraction to the area was within walking distance, and we did walk from our hotel to our main attraction several times.
