The hotel is undergoing renovation, but that is made up for by the service. The front desk lady (straight dark hair in a ponytail, wearing a mask) was so welcoming and kind. We were telling her about our troubles trying to fly home for 3 days and being bumped off flights. She kindly gave us a late checkout and was very understanding. The rooms are clean, every staff member says hello, it’s just lovely here if you get stuck and have to stay near LAX. Worth the splurge! Highly recommend zpizza nearby for dinner.

There was no indication when i was booking the property that it was under a huge renovation! From the lobby to the elevator we had to walk a single file line to get to the elevator due to all the construction.

They have to take credit security deposit 100 dollars every day. Extended stays another security deposit and not cash must be credited, Breakfast poor. Customers service nead be more flexible.

First and foremost!!! The website doesn’t state it’s under construction….that being said was not the main issue. 1 hr wait before we could check in (airport sent people for a cancelled flight for this hotel). Hot water!!! No hot water in the room…..room service…overall I would never stay here again. Unacceptable to have to wait in line for 1 hour with a 3 year old at 11:00pm.

The air conditioning in the room didn’t work and it was hot in the room. The shower water did not get hot, it was tepid and there was rust stains running down the faucet in the bathtub. The one good thing is the pillow was comfortable and check out was easy.

Hotel is under construction no place did it say that. I had 12 hrs before my flight I said i would go relax by pool. After I booked and was on the shuttle I get a text pool.bar and restraunt closed..no lobby sheet rock falling horrible ! Room big but dated

This hotel is under construction! The employees were more than helpful. I am sure once the construction is finished (Nov-Dec) it will wonderful. It would have been nice for the hotel to reach out to let us know. The construction is noticeable as soon as you walk in. The hotel could only accommodate two employees at a make shift front desk. They had to close their restaurants but had limited food options in the conference rooms. Our food was very good. As we leaving, the elevators stopped running- so a group waiting on ate elevators decided to take the stairs. To cut the building we had to go out the emergency exit at the back of the building. I will say Sonesta tried very had and showed nimbleness in serving their customers.

We were not made aware at any point that there was work going on that meant very limited dining choices and only bottles of beer and wine. The check in was awful as again although we were surrounded with polythene blocking all our routes no mention was made of the lack of facilities. We paid over a 150$ for soup and a sandwich and one beer for 4! Terrible customer service on behalf of the company and actual hotel. Would not recommend.
