The worst stay ever for me, it was very noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep properly. The photos on the site were different from reality!

The staff were exceptional, the owner was there hands on creating an epic memorable experience. The location was near transportation food etc. very clean and incredibly accommodating. I highly recommend Castilho 63 to anyone coming to Lisbon

This is an affordable option for families and individuals looking for a great location and safe accommodations in an area that is walkable to sight seeing and metro stops. We rented the family suite which was perfect for us and had just what we needed for cooking and comfort and layout. The hostel common areas are well managed and clean. There’s a lovely breakfast offered and lounge areas and the staff is very friendly and competent. Our personal apartment had some things that were not working properly (oven and fridge) and it had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. There was some mustiness and mold evident in the kitchen and bathroom that we were able to address ourselves for a comfortable stay.

It was good for the price. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room did not match the pictures. Bed was a little basic. Shower was great though! Elevator could not hold two people and luggage.

Very well located, walkable to tourists attractions. Super friendly staff, big kuddos to Joam (Juan) -very courteous, helpful & friendly. Very modern looking bathroom. Good pressure of water in the shower. Breakfast not very abundant. Recommendation to have coins available for laundry. Another set of washer/dryer would be helpful. One doesnt seem enough for such a big hostal. A/C needed. We had to sleep with the window open because it was a bit warm (May). Nonetheless, would stay there again!

Lowcost hostal diaster.
This is a low cost hostal, that is close to the airports but not easily accessible to all the tourist attractions. The rooms DO NOT look like they in the pictures, and if you travel in the summer there is no fan per room. I stayed in one of the 4 bedroom rooms, and even though it was a big room, it was extremely hot. If you are claustrophobic you should use the the stairs and not the elevator as its a ancient one that gets stuck between floors. My fiance and i were stuck for 15 min until someone showed up, who advised us to press the 6th floor button and force the doors open.

Easy address for Uber pick up. Nice to have breakfast included. Guests of all ages stay here. Good lift for big suitcases. We had a private bath, nice to have that option.

Great location and close to a lot of transport links. Overall did not compare to the hostels I've stayed in around Europe. Not much is done to create a sense of community/ help others meet new friends. Apart from speaking to people in your own room, there wasn't much on in the actual hostel for all to join. There was a pub crawl which I didn't attend and I did the free walking tour which was organised by an external company and no one from the hostel attended. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Had a very noisy person in our room which meant 2 nights of hardly any sleep.
