Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

Lovely and Exactly as Pictured!
We stayed in La Jolla on our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary and our AvantStay was lovely!! Exactly as pictured. The location was to die for. The check-in process was so smooth - they even let us in a half hour early so we didn’t have to kill so much time after the airport. 10/10!

We loved the location and te apartment! We loved being a block from the ocean scenic walk and were able to see the ocean from the door. We went to UCSD grad school graduation and had a wonderful trip!

Fantastic Location
The location is the best part of this apartment! So close to the Cove and a ton of restaurants and shops. Couldn't be more convenient. Surrounding area is ritzy and also very clean. The apartment is in an older building but was remodeled nicely. It is small, although totally adequate for my husband and I. When we did have an issue with the Roku tv system, the managers were prompt in returning my text. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for a weekend stay
Great location in the heart of LaJolla, walkable to many restaurants, shops, and beaches. Loved the comfortable bed and convenient checkin process. Was a little noisy at times as described, but not a big issue at all. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Great Host and location
You cannot beat this location in La Jolla. The unit is excellent too but no air conditioning and we were there during a warm streak so kept windows open for breeze. The area is noisy with windows open at night but there is a sound machine. The host answered every single question pronto!!! Phenomenal customer service. I would definitely book this again!!!

Great escape
We stayed two weeks and very much enjoyed our experience. The apartment is as described, clean and comfortable. Yes, there is some noise from a restaurant located in the back but that did not disturb us, to the contrary, it added some ambiance and it was closed by 10pm. Where the experience fell short was in the availability of another table/small desk and an extra lamp. We would have expected that for a longer stay such as ours, we could have been accommodated. There were other adjacent apartments managed by the same company that seemed not rented. Top Improvement needed: change the chairs, they are not only uncomfortable but one of them had a broken back panel which would get caught in clothing or scratch your hand.
