I can’t say enough about the location of this hotel. It is right on the beach. I did however expect more for the price they charge. Our room was over $400 per night advertised, but they charge a resort fee on top of that and close to $50 a night for parking. It ended up costing over $500 per night. The condition of the room was disappointing for the price. It was definitely well used, and there was a lot of wear and tear. The air conditioner had a hard time keeping the room cool, and was really noisy. The restaurant was very convenient, but not impressive. I will say that we are definitely spoiled people when it comes to travel, and maybe my expectations were too high. Personally, I think if I’m spending over $500 a night for a room, it should be a lot nicer than this one was.

Only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 was the location. Excellent location and convenient. Right on the beach. But you cant keep riding that for long term. Property is way out-dated. Rooms and patios need complete overall. AC was swamp cooler and leaked all over patio and very noisy. Patio rating by itself was 1 star. -- terrible. Awkward "L" shape with webs and spiders, poorly maintained. Room was clean, but that's about it. Front Desk Staff was not helpful Didnt seem know anything. Except for one gentlemen - think he was the manager - who checked us in. You Need a full-time concierge. 2 of the 4 electric bikes were broken. No one to provide assistance. When we tried to enter Tennis club, we were rudely turned away. Beach and umbrella staff were exceptional. You advertise free shuttle service, but extremely difficult to get rides. Overall, the property needs a major overhaul and rennovation.

Loud, dripping AC with no other option other than keeping the screen door open all night. Front desk staff, recreation staff, cooks and cleaning crew were awesome, friendly and helpful. Most restaurant wait staff and hostesses acted inconvenienced when asked for anything beyond the initial order, such as salt or sugar, which should have been on the table to begin with, and this included the person who appeared to be the restaurant manager. Them and many people working around the area seemed like local teens at their first job. Frustrating when i paid a lot for my stay. Im not sure where all the money goes--invisible management? I doubt we'll go back.

Perfect family hotel on the beaxh
My family stayed here for 5 nights and LOVED it. My kids are 11 and 8 and they loved the activities like movie & popcorn at the pool and snow cones. Room was comfortable and clean. Can’t beat being on the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants, the pool was also great. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. We’ll def stay again and would recommend.

Great Location Overpriced Poor Service
Check-in was disappointing. Was told by phone we had to be at the hotel to be put into the “cue” for early check-in. Raced to the hotel, was told our room was in the “cue” to be cleaned. Was told 90mins later, there was no cue. Food and bar service was so dreadfully slow. I would guess understaffed in the kitchen and behind the bar. But, I saw lots of employees standing around doing nothing, so likely the hotel is just poorly managed. Priced like an expensive lux hotel, but in reality it’s a beach motel. It’s a $300 a night beach motel which charges $700 per night.
I realize it’s the beach, but clean off the bird droppings for $700
