I read some reviews about mold in bathrooms and things falling apart… we did have a shower faucet that was partially coming off wall but the shower still worked just fine. The hotel has a handful of 2 bedroom suites with 1.5 baths and this was so great for family of 4. Rooms were separated by nice sitting area with couch and tv and kitchenette. The staff were super friendly and kind. We loved that they came from all over— Haiti, Dom Rep, Cuba, Sweden, more. The hotel is right across the street from Smathers Beach which was so great because it has lots of sand and swimming unlike most of the other hotels. The restaurant food was consistently good and the menu big enough to have several meals there and not feel tired by it. The fact that the hotel is 3m from old town was never a problem because of the free shuttle that runs on the hour feom 9am to 11pm. We will be back.

Go somewhere else not worth it!

Extremely disappointed, definitely not worth the $500 per night. We arrived at 7pm The room was dirty floors were sticky and shower was clogged there are no excuses as to why the room was so dirty as we arrived after check in time which is 4pm. I expected more from this hotel as i have stayed in other locations. Maintenance had to fix the shower no-one came to clean the floors, we were not offered another room complete mess!

Mixed Experience at Margaritaville Beach House Our family of 12 stayed at Margaritaville Beach House after a New Year’s cruise. While we appreciated the late check-out, excellent concierge service, and clean lobby, other aspects fell short. The concierge was a standout, offering fantastic dinner, brunch, and parking recommendations while being welcoming and attentive to our group’s needs. However, the check-in process was rushed and unpleasant, with the clerk appearing annoyed. In our suites, essentials like pull-out bedding and enough towels for four guests were missing. When I called to request an extra towel, the response was dismissive, and the clerk ended the call with “whatever.” Front desk Staff could greatly benefit from improved communication and customer service training to ensure a better overall experience.

My husband and I had a nice stay at Margaritaville! The waitresses and bartenders were very nice and helpful. We loved the free shuttles downtown and to the airport The pool area was nice but could use more chairs because they got filled up quickly. The beach across the street was convenient but not the nicest- small and seaweed and rocks as you went in water. The rooms were also spacious! We would come back!

The staff at this property are very nice! Overall, the property needs to be renovated. When you pay this amount per night you have higher expectations. The couch that pulls out into a bed (our teenage kids had to sleep on) was dirty and gross. The king bed had noisy springs on one side and there were other cosmetic things around the room that need attention. The pool/restaurant lunch and especially appetizer prices are high… $15 for chips and salsa is insane. We ate breakfast at the restaurant on Christmas morning (party of 5) and it took 45 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered. It was super busy so we didn’t say anything but we were one of the first tables to get seated. We watched tables around us come and go before we even got our food. I think the server forgot to put our order in. Again, it was Christmas and she was working hard so we didn’t complain or say anything but I did want to include in this review. The shuttle service is fantastic and very helpful! Hotel management, it’s time to give this property some needed TLC!

The service was exceptional. The property does need some general upkeep (pool chairs, fire pit furniture, room paint-baseboard cleaning, etc). The property is about 40min walk to Duval-it is a nice walk though) you have to do some planning to catch the shuttle and it fills up fast-once we had to wait an extra hour because of this. Other times we just called a lyft. There is one restaurant on site and really nothing close by
