Great Trip

Just as the photos show. Perfect! Hot tub worked great! Make sure to use the written directions and not just gps. A little tricky to find, but their step by step details will get you right to it.

God's Country

The cabin pictures are spot on! We had a couple of small items needing repair, which were taken care of in a timely manner. Each conversation, with Aunt Bug's office, made me feel welcomed and listened to. Only downfall was the visits from six different bears off and on during our stay. We did enjoy watching them, but weren't sure when they would show up.

Close to Downtown Gatlinburg

We loved how close it was to downtown Gatlinburg! The cabin is very nice and has most of what you would need for a stay. The cleaning company leaves a lot to be desired, and there was not a combination code given to throw trash in the provided bear proof cage lock. We figured it out, but there was trash all down the mountain side when we got there because a bear was in trash the previous tenants left because of no combination code ( apparently didn't know to not leave trash outside with bears lol). There were dirty socks on the floor left from the cleaning company as well as dirty, greasy dishes that a previous tenant put back away. Not a lot of dishes, so it would have been easy for the cleaning company to look through the drawers real quick to make sure that a pot lid and a large cooking fork were clean. Clearly a previous tenant didn't want to clean because they definitely didn't get wiped or dishwashed it wasn't hard to get off. Also there is a nice thick amount of dust on the top of the cupboards (my boyfriend owns a cleaning company and found that). There was also hardly any dishsoap under the sink and the cleaning company must've saw the bottle or just didn't care to replace for the next, but we always bring our own. The cabin was very nice though. Loved location! Would stay there again if only us with our dogs again, another couple would be okay as well. definitely spacious enough. The manager (Rusty) extremely kind and a pleasure to deal with!

Lovely Cabin

Very nice cabin! A little bit hard to find but we managed. Very close to downtown Gatlinburg! Open concept with a very nice hot tub! Management texted me regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly and/or if we needed anything. When we arrived, the TV's would not turn on. Called management and they had someone out to fix them within a half hour. My only gripe is that we only had 2 hand towels - 1 per bathroom. I would have preferred at least 2 per bathroom but we managed. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely rent the cabin again!

Dirty

Cabin was dirty. Dead bugs on the floor when we arrived. Cobwebs all over. Fans looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. Master bathroom ceiling was dirty, looked like mold. My kids found a dirty sock in the couch and an empty beer bottle under the dresser. Hot tub was cloudy. The walls and baseboards were filthy. Dishes is cupboard were dirty. Only thing about this place we liked was the location. But the only view was trees. Also, garbage cans that were supposed to be locked, were not, and someone’s garbage was all over the hillside.

First negative review I have had to leave 😩

Usually my experiences with VRBO is amazing. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with communication with management and lack of response to problems with the cabin. The cabin needs some updates but overall was great upon arrival. I arrived Sunday and by Tuesday the internet no longer worked and we were unable to get into the locked bear proof trash bin. I reached out and was told it was too late to have anyone fix it. This was reasonable and I was fine with that. I had to reach back out the following night and was told they were working on solving the problem. The lack of internet left me with no computer and I and in school and had assignments I had to work on. I also had very little to no phone service and inability to send and receive texts which made planing for activities and keeping an eye on weather impossible. I reached out again on Thursday and was told they were still working on the issue. There was no communication. By this time we had to put trash in the upstairs bathroom because you cannot put it outdoors or it will attract bears and it was stinking. The sink in the kitchen pluming came undone and flooded the kitchen floor. Since I was unable to use phone we had to fix this ourselves. The upstairs showers when in use leaked slightly down the wall into the downstairs bedroom. Throughout the cabin you will find several things damaged from previous tenants so take pics. My issues were never fixed or even addressed. We had to figure it out on our own or deal with.

Inside of the cabin was not very clean.

Dust was everywhere inside the cabin. Could definitely tell a dog stayed inside the cabin from all the dog hair on the floors AND in the beds (I didn’t even use their blankets/sheets because they had hair all over them). Clearly was not cleaned very well. I didn’t feel like I could even walk around inside without shoes on at all times. Pretty disappointed with the level of cleanliness. Some of the outlets in the bedrooms didn’t work along with the outlet in the bathroom. Best part of the cabin was the hot tub.

The cabin was about 15 min from down town gatlinburg which was great. The cabin could've been cleaner, there was a bunch of bugs, the dishes were dirty, and there was a lot of cob webs.

Fun for a bigger family

We have 4 boys ranging from 14-5 yrs old. Plenty of sleep space. Close enough to town for a few groceries in between eating out. The driveway was a bit steep but not bad for my Tahoe (not a 4wd)

Peaceful Getaway

Property was clean, spacious, quiet and relaxing. The only two negatives regarding the property were, there was no view and the gas fireplace did not work. I notified the office and the service man came up on saturday and fixed the problem. So we had no fire in the firelace on our first evening which was dissapointing.
