We were promptly greeted upon entering the lobby. The valet/ bellhop service was very attentive and welcome. The front desk answered questions about the area. Room was clean, housekeeping service was great. Most local attractions were within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this hotel/location and plan to return when visiting Chicago in the future. I feel like this hotel is a hidden gem.

My stay was amazing. It almost got ruined when my Uber driver started to take off while I was halfway in the car, a gentleman named Michael who was on the staff of the hotel saw what was happening and stopped the driver…totally saved me from being seriously hurt or worse!! Hotel Blake treated us like family!

**Hotel Blake Review** I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Blake. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel's location is perfect—close to everything, making it easy to explore the city. The room quality was excellent, with comfortable furnishings and a clean, well-maintained space that made my stay very enjoyable. Overall, Hotel Blake offers a great experience with its friendly staff, prime location, and high-quality rooms. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay and found the Blake clean and comfortable with outstanding staff. Parking is a little challenging and it’s a bit off the beaten path downtown, but all of the main tourist stuff is within a 10-20 minute walk.

If you are on budget, this hotel maybe a good option, otherwise, you would find much better options around the river side. (northeast side of the loop) Noisy spot (at the corner of 2 major streets), not the nicest/safest neighborhood. Old building with dark rooms.

This hotel was perfectly placed to walk to all the tourist locations including Soldier Field, Navy Pier and Andy’s Jazz Bar. The staff was friendly, including our favourite Conceirge Michael! I will definitely stay here again when I return to Chicago.

Stayed for several days in Jul 2024. Mid-sized hotel with convenient location. Friendly staff who greet you every time you enter the hotel. Good size, comfortable hotel rooms, if a bit dated. Iron didn't work but was quickly replaced. Onsite restaurant (Deli cafe) is good. No complaints. Will stay here again.
