This beautifully renovated 2,383-square-foot home, set on a large, lushly wooded lot offers ample indoor and outdoor space to relax and restore. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, this 2-story retreat has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay.

Living Spaces
The main living spaces flow effortlessly and feature high vaulted ceilings, rich dark wood flooring and quaint board and batten style walls. The floor plan achieves the perfect balance between openness and privacy.
The spacious living room, lined with shelving on one side and windows on the other, is appointed with comfortable furnishings and warmed by a gas fireplace.
A sunny bonus room between the kitchen and garage is nicely suited as an office.
Beautiful wood stairs lead to the lower level which includes a spacious family room. Here you’ll find a wood burning fireplace, queen sleeper sofa and other comfy furniture, a game table and 63" flat-panel Smart TV. An adjacent kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, sink and ample cabinets and counter space. Well-equipped for extended stays!

Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen is an ideal gathering spot for preparing meals or entertaining. A breakfast area fitted with a table and 4 chairs, sits across from a niche with wall-mounted 43" flat-panel TV and comfy sofa. A peninsula with 3 stools and 5-burner gas Jenn-Air cooktop separates the breakfast area and the central part of the kitchen. A Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, a double oven and Bosch dishwasher are set among Emerald green ceramic tile countertops and wood cabinets. A drip coffeemaker, toaster, tea kettle and large microwave complete the picture.
Just off the kitchen, the formal dining room features seating for 8 and opens onto a small balcony.

Downstairs, doors from the family room open onto a deck that runs along the side and back of the home. A gas grill and patio furniture afford al fresco dining and forest views.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 is set privately at the rear of the main / upper level. It’s furnished with a king bed with a Heavenly mattress and a walk-in closet. The en suite bath has a dual vanity and a walk-in shower.
Downstairs, a hallway leads to 2 guest bedrooms.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, Bedroom #3 has 2 twin beds.
A bathroom at the end of the hallway features a shower, separate soaking tub, and a vanity with sink.
The half-bath near the main entrance is easily accessed from all main floor rooms.
A queen sofa sleeper is located in the downstairs family room, perfect for children or weekend guests.

The laundry area with stacking washer and dryer is located off the downstairs hallway.

There’s ample parking at the top of the sloping driveway. There’s room for a small car in the attached garage as well as in front of it. Exercise caution when backing up the steep driveway.

It’s a short walk to Ocean Avenue and a large dog friendly beach. Explore the streets of the village where you’ll find wine tasting, gourmet grocers and delis, world-class restaurants, shops and galleries. A short drive takes you to The Crossroads, The Barnyard and Carmel Rancho shopping centers. Plan a day trip or two to explore Carmel Valley, Big Sur, Pacific Grove and Monterey discover the unique aspects of the Monterey Peninsula.

Well-behaved small dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.

Perfect Stay and Location
Everything was exactly as posted! Loved the house, clean, well stocked with everything you could need. Beds were comfortable. Furniture is comfortable. Quiet property at the top of a hill. Close to downtown Carmel and beach.
