Booked online and enquired if Lift?Elevator available. Did not know so wait for Property Manager to contact. On contact, found out that no lift available. Told him about my COPD, Breathing difficulties, Diabetes, and difficulty in climbing stairs. Assured that apartment will be on first floor with hardly 8 steps.
Received text with info about entry to apartment, but said 2nd floor. Contacted again and received re-assurance text that it should read 1st floor, On arrival, contacted cleaner as found out that apartment was on 2nd floor, with more than 32 steps. Told SORRY, nothing else available. Parking Bay not marked so had to wait to find out. (Asked a resident there but he told me that these are private apartments and cannot be rented out???).
Anyway, reached the top, after a few stops. Checked out the facilities. Found out the following, considering that this is CLAIMED/advertised as 4 star accommodation:
1. Although we had booked for 5 people, ONLY 3 forks and no serving dishes
2. 4 Pillows and 2 Duvets
3. Toilet flush tank not filling up. ( Complained a few times but not repaired till we left)
4. Shower holder broken so shower hanging down. ( Complained a few times but not repaired till we left)
5. The bedroom blinds were broken. Got them fixed but then kept falling down every time used. ( Complained a few times but not repaired till we left)
6. The Lounge blinds kept falling down. ( Complained a few times but not repaired till we left)
7. Large Flat screen TV shown online, but only found a small ALBA TV, without remote, so could be used. Complained. Received a remote After 3 days.
8. Was told that fans will be available but none found. Complained. Got fans after 4 days.
9. The cleaner lady arrived on Saturday expecting us to leave, but we had bookings till Sunday. When we arrived the first day, she did not know about our booking either.
10. No cleaning done by anybody all the week. We cleaned it ourselves and left the apartment absolutely clean. DESPITE THAT, WHEN WE RECEIVED OUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK, we still had to pay CLEANING CHARGE????????
NOW FOR THE SERVICE; (A JOKE)
Complaints had to be made several times, both to the Property Manager and the Cleaner, by phone and text. Not once the phone was answered, and always had to leave a message, but unfortunately, with NO RESPONSE to either of the communication.
Overall, extremely disappointed, and a very bad experience for all the money we paid. NEVER AGAIN.
