The staff were very helpful, always responding with a smile, and available 24 hours! The property was not new but it was very well-maintained! The beach was magical! One bad thing about our trip, almost everybody got diarrhea and threw up for at least 1 night which seems to be a common theme for people who visit that area for the first time. I suppose there should be a vaccine that you can get before your trip to avoid that 1or 2 nights of inconvenience. The hotel offered late check-out and free room service to help us with this condition. I highly recommend traveling there but I suggest you be prepared for this situation.

I was skeptical with all the prev bad reviews on staying here but we were honestly blown away by this resort. We have four kids but didn’t bring them on the trip, but I can say it’s a great place for kids with so many things to do. We went Nov 11-Nov 18. We had three days good waves and four of tough waves/high winds. The weather was beautiful and the resort wasn’t too hot. Yes, only your room is air conditioned but that was more than what I even expected. The resort does need repairs and they were working on them daily. One night they had to close the buffet for the dinner but it was to fix some leaks and there’s so many food options it was fine. The staff are all very friendly. The places to eat, especially the coffee shop and bars were very clean. They had staff walking around the buffet making sure everything was presentable and clean. We each gained 10 lbs of weight because of how much we ate! Food was great and they always have a kids buffet too. We are vegans and were able to enjoy lots !!! Overall I would go here again. Check in and check out was done in 5 minutes. The room was so romantic with clean big beds and a jacuzzi outside ! Loved it !!!

Food was mediocre, the restaurant serve the same food from buffet dressed differently (plated to look nice). Restaurants are also mostly for dinner, lunch option are mexican and buffet. The menu repeats and it quickly becomes boring to eat the same stuff. Activities were not great, except for the show at Theatre which kids enjoyed!

Cockroaches everywhere. Killed a cockroach every day in our room. Poor service. Everyone has an attitude. You go to a resort to relax and have a good time and instead you become an exterminator??? Never again. Food is disgusting. Poor quality and a joke to serve. Staff slam doors and don’t care about people resting it sounds like gunshots….

Family-friendly resort. Don't forget to try the Mexican restaurant for lunch! Staffs are polite. Shoutout to our favorite waiter in florencia restaurant - Absalon, He made our little boy happy. Also, thank you to Abner from guest services. They have slides, mini golf and zipline for kids. We all have fun. The only little con for me is the beach area. They had the red flag everyday because of the strong wind and current. I believe it's the location of the property, kind of direct to the ocean so if you want to swim in the beach, you might not be able to do so with little kids, on the good notes, they have plenty of pools that kids could go to. Try to come early for the restaurant so you can get a spot. Some days could get busy. Our favorite is the Mexican lunch we had by the kids area and the beef short ribs from Big Ben. Also, for adults, we noticed that the drinks in their club by the first floor was prepared better. It's not as watered down in comparison to the same drinks you will get by the pool area. Overall, we had a great time staying at Seadust.

This was my third time, but my last visit was much better than this one. The elevator was not working, and the staff were better in April 2023 and in 2022. I will reconsider going back.
