Staff was not friendly, line for the buffet was insane, same thing to get eggs done lol. Food was ok but not what I would expect. We were supposed to get a present but because I didn’t pick it up within 24 hrs it “expired”… ridiculous. The first day they deactivated my key because they didn’t charge the other half of the stay when we checked in even though he had provided the card for it to be charged, we arrived late at night that day after a long day out carrying a sleeping baby to that surprise.

The location for this hotel is great as the Mall is across the street, it's on the local bus line too. The beach here is beautiful too. Some of the things in the property looked a little old. However, the beds were firm and comfortable. Usually hotel beds are too soft. There are four restaurants in this hotel. We didn't like the the buffet restaurant food, however, omelets made per order was good, when busy it can take about 15 min wait. The other three restaurant seemed really busy to reserve for dinner especially the Italian and Mexican. The Seafood restaurant is open for lunch and we ate multiple times lunch and dinner with reservation. The staff here were really nice and buffet also had good staff. Mexican restaurant drink was good, food portion were tiny. I didn't get the chance to eat at the Italian restaurant though. Overall, I like the hotel. Again, thank you to the staff from bell boys to the restaurant staff. The hotel had different things going on after 9 or little after, some were loud but, since it's in the lobby, wasn't too bad. One more thing, the check-in process could be improved a little as it's a bit slow.

Two good things about this hotel but, many dislikes! I liked the beach area and food options in the cafeteria / restaurants. However, the hotel is very expensive and they charged me extra fees with no notice. I got charged $200 extra for each person in my reservation just so they can be in the room I already paid for. I paid for the family suite which fits 6 people and they told me they will still charge per person staying in the room even though I paid for the room in advance. We talked to the manager and he didn’t solve our issue. The staff has no customer service and they do not explain anything about their hotel’s activities. The staff only promotes the XCARET Park and they insist on giving discounts when we tell them we aren’t interested in that. The plumbing of the resort is loud. The locks on the doors don’t close properly either. Some light switches don’t work. The front door hotel lobby workers don’t open the doors for you even though they stand next to the doors to open them. The hotel doesn’t provide refunds for their mistakes!

The resort was one of the cleanest we've been to. Typical swim up bars have slime/mold but this one was CLEAN. THE entire resort was. Staff was superb and provided everything we needed. Buffet was average, not mind blowing but you will never go hungry. Enjoyed the restaurants. My only complaint was the bars each had a drink menu on the resort app. Multiple times they didnt know the drink or have the ingredients... so either fixing that or removing the menu would be good. Overall enjoyed our stay

Almost Everyone in my party got food poisoning and the front desk staff does not know customer service. How ever the bartender Mario was amazing and caring! He was the only one who gave us excellent service. Sadly would not stay here again.

The food is not good at any of the restaurants. The liquor was cheap qualiry. The staff was amazing though. Our best meal was at McDonald's across the street at mall. The all inclusive is not worth it.

Check in was easy and fast. Room was ready early. Information about resort as not really given at check in. No map available. Had to scan with phone to get information. Room was a little dated. Buffet restaurant was really bad. Food looked horrible and looked like it had been sitting there for hours. Pescador restaurant was good and service was excellent. Italian restaurant was good and again service was excellent. We were only there for .one night as we had reservations at the resort adjacent too for 8 nights. This is not adult only and has many children at the resort. However they have an adult area and it is adequate. The location of the resort is excellent. There is a rooftop bar that has an excellent view and good bar service.
