Hotel is in an excellent location, on a beautiful stretch of beach and walkable to many restaurants, shops and clubs. Unfortunately our experience here was marred by the staff, who seemed untrained and generally uncaring. When we checked in (at 10 pm) one of our two rooms had not been cleaned, with trash on the floor and the beds unmade. This general lack of attention to the customer experience carried through our stay, including a whole runaround reserving beach beds (which we received a "VIP coupon" for, but found that the staff did not know how to use; we eventually had to escalate to the manager, Monserrat, who did actually manage to resolve the situation - thank you); to room service dishes that were left, uncollected, outside our room for literally two days despite multiple calls; to having a salad delivered with chicken pieces in it despite asking specifically (and making sure we said in Spanish) that we wanted a vegetarian salad.
The majority of the other guests seemed Spanish speaking and so it may just have been that the staff was not used to (or did not want to deal with) English speaking guests, but the overall attitude we felt was uncaring. Despite that, the beautiful views and good (though slightly noisy) location make it hard not to enjoy your stay here.
