Staff was not friendly, water clogging in the shower, no response when we reported to the staff. Overall room was not kept organized when we checked in.
The staff is very sweet and kind. We even got a free room upgrade during check in because we were originally supposed to be in the basement level. However, I would say the room did not feel as clean as we would have liked. We found a cigarette butt underneath our bed. The room is also very small. Besides that, our stay was fine and the staff made our experience better.
Hotel was very nice. Breakfast was very good, one of the best we had on our entire trip. Everything was made fresh the day of including croissants and pastries.
Only complaint would be the cleanliness of our bathroom. Lots of past guest evidence in room. Drinking glasses in room were all dirty with stuff stuck to them. Toilet was dirty and did not look like it had been cleaned in a while.
Some type of leaves were all inside the drawer under the sink.
Overall we still enjoyed our stay. If the bathroom had of been cleaned properly would given a 5 star review.
The hotel was lovely- there was a great garden in the courtyard and the breakfast was good. Room could have been maintained better but the location was great :)
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We were able to check in early, and since we were there for Pride we got some cute welcome snacks from the front desk. The staff really made you feel special, and like nothing was a problem. I'd say the downside is that the room is really cozy when it says cozy room. You're not in your room a lot when you're traveling so it wasn't much of an issue but it was close quarters. The bathroom was cute - but very small. Overall, a fabulous experience.
It was our second time staying at this hotel. We loved it. We stayed for 1 week with our 2 children (4 and 10). Our room was on the bottom level and had ample space. Our only complaint was our room was not cleaned over our stay. We put in a request at the front desk and on the online app but it never got done.
The hotel is in great walking distant to all museums and restaurants.
I have been located in the minus one level, next with the public toilet and stock. I can smell the detergent in the corridor. It makes me not comfortable, also the air temperature is set to 20 degrees (too warm) but I am not able to open the window at the top ceiling because it is very noisy when people pass by. Also the air conditioner makes the sound of water dripping.
We were only here for one night and too tired so didn't propose anything more.
I stayed in Amsterdam and changed three hotels in one week. This was the most disappointing one for me and the most expensive one.

Could be better
This hotel did not meet expectations. The staff is great; friendly and helpful. The rooms feel small and inconvenient. The rooms are clean but dull. The bathrooms are cramped and annoying. Fixtures are not installed well. It is in a great location near museums and shopping and beautiful Vondelpark.

Location is excellent, but our room was very small and noisy. Stayed there three nights we had two connecting rooms that were very small and noisy. Didn’t sleep at all. But you can’t find a better location than this place. We sucked it up for the location. Other than that it would get a two star.
Great location! Right next to the Ryks museum. Very close to food and shopping, as well as buses. Beautiful room. Comfortable. A little bit small, but nicely done. Lovely lobby and dinning area. Steep stairs in access lobby.
Brilliant stay, room clean and comfortable, bathroom clean and functioning well. ONLY complaint that i would have is the fact that inwas unaware that in room 216 there is a door which i thought was a service door was actually connected to my room, so the next door room could hear was was happening in my room.
Other thank great stay and would stay again in a different room.
It was the worst hotel we ever been and we have been to 31 countries so far! The room was extremely tiny, the bed was extremely tiny and uncomfortable and dirty! This should have been a 2 star hotel and I don’t know how it’s a 4 star hotel. They would not give us any water bottle the staff were super unfriendly and mean. Just do NOT stay here what a waste of our money and experience in Amsterdam!
Friendly staff, extremely helpful reception staff. I'd highly recommend this hotel, it was a great location in easy reach of the museums and transport links. Lovely room with ensuite, albeit small the bed was super comfortable and the tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge and TV made the stay a relaxing experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Close to Van Gogh museum and Rijksmuseum. Lovely local restaurants and cafes. Walkable to canals and paddling boats. Only 20-30mins to the main Dam Square and other sightseeing. Delicious breakfast. Helpful staff.
