The room was nice and clean, the staff were friendly. The air-conditioning didn't work. For the three nights we stayed the hottest outside temperature was 36C the room was 26C when we returned, and went up to 27C for most until after bedtime (we have a night light for our children that shows temperature). The air-conditioning was set to 18C and did nothing. When reporting this staff said it's part of a central system so it will be working - it wasn't. They said they'll tell the engineer but it still didn't work the following day. When getting a drink in an evening when kids were asleep staff said the glasses couldn't go up to the room "because cleaners don't bring them back", facing the prospect of drinking alone I had to negotiate that I'd bring them down. Staff were unaware of all menu items. When it rains there's a major leak in the breakfast area, but doesn't really cause an issue. In the evenings it isn't quiet, many other rooms can easily be heard. When the kids are in bed we couldn't put the TV on as it's about 65" and locked to maximum brightness so it woke the kids.

Nice hotel, firmest mattresses ever.
Check in was easy and quick, with friendly staff. Room was quiet, clean, setup nicely with enough towels etc. Room A/C unit was a bit weak, but it is Europe. It did keep the room comfortable. Nice floor to ceiling windows. Beds were literally the firmest mattresses I have ever slept on. I've laid on carpeted floors that had more give...my wife checked to see if there was actually a mattress. That said, we were tired enough we all slept well.

AC dis not work in the first room, tried calling front desk, phone did not work either. Had to wait 10minutes at the front desk before speaking to someone about the AC. They gave us another room, in wich rhere was no shower gel. Had to go down again to ask them as the phone dis not work in that room either. Room was not well cleaned, dust everywhere.

Excellent location and friendly staff
This hotel is in a good location , two train stations from the airport, one train station to Utrecht and aprox 9 metro stations- 15 min- ( direct with metro 54) to Amsterdam Central station. There are two supermarkets left and right of the hotel and a few restaurants. I loved the shampoo , shower gel and conditioner the hotel provides and the large mirror in the room. Wifi is fast, temp in the room perfect and the sheets are nice and crispy. The hotel offers 500 HH points per day if you skip the room cleaning. What a great idea! The breakfast was ok, but no variety from day to day. Boring after 5 days. They also should provide mustard and at least one type of lettuce. And some gluten free items. . Izabela at reception was great, very polite and personable. The staff all around is very respectful and helpful and the ones in the dining room worked very hard to keep it as clean as possible. Room suggestions: you should have a recycling bin in the room. A little fridge would be great( it can be squeezed in in between the desk and the window , in the queen size rooms). This is the only Hilton I ever been at where there was no cappuccino machine in the room. That should be added . More hangers are needed ( the room should have at least 10 hangers). All in all a nicc hotel and the fact that is just outside the train/ metro station was a huge plus. Thank you !
